Confiscated Booze Turned Into Fuel

In Sweden, officials are turning confiscated alcohol into fuel for vehicles.

It’s reported that Sweden’s authorities confiscated about 185,000 gallons of alcohol at the border last year and used all of it for fuel. The public transportation benefited from the converted alcohol by having it used in over 1,000 trucks and buses, including one train.

Sweden is already ahead of most countries as 25% of its total energy comes from renewable sources.
