Solar California Farm Rush


A large-scale of solar power plants to be placed in California, is being proposed. Thirty-Four Big Solar power stations have made requests to the Federal Bureau of Land Management for 300,000 acres. Using the land could promise more than 34 gigawatts of green energy in the Mojave desert.

Although, there may not be an immediate development of the solar power stations there are solar entrepreneurs lining up to take advantage of California’s desert to get the best sites.

  1. This would be extra good in California and the Western U.S. because they are always having problems with their power grid and have to do rolling blackouts, because there isn’t enough electricity for everyone.
