Bamboo Cell Degradable Concept

Gert-Jan van Breugel has come up with a design for a biodegradable cellphone that can be left with your compost. The idea sounds very similar to the UK mobile phones which contain seeds to grow once the phone has finished breaking down. They both share similarities where you’ll still need to remove the antenna, battery and print board from the bio-plastic and bamboo body. The recyclable parts will break down in a few weeks to release enclosed seeds of bamboo or sunflowers or whatever they decide to choose to enclose it with - imagine if you could choose your own seed selection!
