Travel in a Solar Caravan

For campers or long distance travelers looking for a transportation vehicle, finding a self-sufficient camper that runs off solar power is a gem.

Verdier has created an aesthetically pleasing design placing together a 40 watt 12 volt solar panel in the roof that comes out and opens into a nice gazebo. The solar panel will charge up all the electronics inside the camper like the four burner stove in the kitchenette, the on-board computer, wireless internet connection, GPS system and the lights.

The caravan runs on electric plus gas or diesel (making it more of a hybrid vehicle) and runs about $69,000.
