Document Your ‘Green’ Choices

Here is another way to track your progress by going green. Energy Race is a website that will track your ‘green’ contributions and calculate the value of each of your pledges. To start, you first you need to setup a profile and answer a few questions. You decide what changes you’ve made to your vehicle, home, recycling choices and electricity usage. The great thing is that you are able to view a long list of simple changes you can potentially make. Once you’ve saved your changes you can see how much you have lowered your carbon emissions in their cute green tree.

The site is free and they don’t sell your name or email address. Once you’re done, you can publicize your efforts by displaying a personal badge of how much you have reduced CO2!

  1. I like these a lot. I’m currently reading a book on global warming, called Heat by George Monbiot. And the book echoes a lot of thoughts and themes on your blog. I will definitly keep coming back as I journey through the book.

  2. Hi Susan.

Love what you are doing here. It’s sites like this that make the world a better place to live in.

    All the best.

  3. Susan, thanks for your kind post on Energyrace.

I’m impressed by both your writing style and the breadth of what you’ve written about on Got2BeGreen in a short time.

    Best wishes,
