Scientists have unveiled a super LED powered technology to replace filament models within 3 years. In your home, the less brighter LEDs have been used in most electronic gadgets as indicator lights on computers and cell phones. The new technology, called the Light Emitting Diode allows these efficient lights to become even more brighter…just enough to replace filament models of home lighting.
Researchers from University of Glasgow and Institute of Photonics, used a special method called nano-imprint lithography to make the LEDs shine brighter without using additional power via microscopic holes on the surface of LEDs. The etched holes allow more light to escape and thus increase the brightness without requiring more electricity.
Only a few more years to begin replacing home lighting!
