H2Pro claims their product is a Greener Hair Straightener. According to the product description:
The 300 SE is the special edition ceramic styling iron in the H2pro line. Nano Hi-Tech brings frizz-free healthy styling, and the 300 Special Edition also incorporates more smoothness, and more sleekness with the advanced self-adjusting plates. According to the company the H2Pro is “greener’ than other straighteners because of its Nano technologies which remove bacteria and pollutants from the hair and it is also more efficient and cost effective to operate compared to other brands. The Nano Titanium Oxide (TiO) removes chemical pollutants and toxins from daily exposure and the Nano Silver (Ag) = removes harmful or damaging bacteria from the hair.
This is a review written by a Got2BeGreen product reviewer:
First of all my professional straightener only goes up to 230 degrees. The H2Pro reaches 450 degrees in minutes. The Nano Technology seemed to give hair a much smoother finish. It seemed to make my ends not “split”. They look much more finished like when I go to the salon. Also, I only needed to run the iron through my hair once as opposed to multiple times with my usual iron. My hair seemed to get “infused” or “hydrated” instead of “dehydrated” as I straightened it. I didn’t get to read anything on the iron before I used it so that is probably a good thing because I was unbiased when I used it. Overall I think it is a good product.
The H2Pro retails for $160 which may seem a little pricey but if it replaces weekly trips to the salon for straightening it will pay for itself in a matter of weeks.
